The new structure, built thanks to Samsung’s help, represents an excellence at national level in the field of inclusion, education and technological innovation applied to sport
Gianluca Zambrotta, who together with the former partner Perrotta and the former coach Prandelli is working to make his contribution to the search for the talents of Italian football, has not forgotten his beneficial association, the Azzurrini Academy and a few days ago, on the occasion of the third Azzurrini Academy tournament, the Renato Rossi sports center – Eracle FC has hosted the official inauguration of the new cognitive training room, Immersive technological space intended for young players of the inclusive football school of the former Juventus and Milan. Among the partners of the project also Samsung which thus confirmed its commitment to social innovation by contributing concretely to the construction of the room, through the supply of advanced digital devices designed to stimulate the cognitive skills of children and teenagers with high -functioning autism spectrum disorders and/or slight intellectual disability. Zambrotta, president of Azzurrini Academy, explained: “With Azzurrini Academy we want to go beyond the simple sporting gesture: we believe that sport must be an extraordinary vehicle of inclusion, education and personal growth. The inauguration of the new cognitive training room represents a point of turning point and absolute innovation, being one of the first in Italy of this kind. The initiative, also created thanks to the support of the Pontiggia and Lions Club Monticello group, represents one of the first experiences in Italy of cognitive laboratory within an inclusive football school. Azzurrini Academy is thus confirmed as a pioneering model in which sport, technology and inclusion converge to enhance every single talent, offering value educational experiences and new growth opportunities. Here, mind, body and emotions train in an integrated way through a multidisciplinary approach and the use of cutting -edge digital devices. The goal is to enhance skills such as attention, memory, problem solving and mental flexibility, supporting sports activities tailor -made that enhance every talent, also thanks to Samsung technology. Activate from November 2024, the cognitive training room represents a space where technology, sport and inclusion meet to offer young people a safe, stimulating and personalized environment. The company has equipped the room with interactive blackboards, curved monitors, laptops, tablets and galaxy tags, tools that allow you to dynamically adapt the activities to the needs of each participant. These are accompanied by innovative solutions such as specific software for cognitive training, bright sensors for reactivity and coordination exercises, educational robots to stimulate computational thought and fine motor skills, and virtual reality viewers for immersive experiences that strengthen spatial orientation, memory and emotional regulation. The technologies used allow for timely and detailed monitoring of progress, offering useful data to constantly calibrate the programs and maximize the benefits of the cognitive path of each child.
