A state of emergency was introduced throughout Kazakhstan, reported “Sputnik Kazakhstan” and Informburo

The state of emergency provides for restrictions on movement, a ban on mass gatherings and strikes, and also allows law enforcement officers to conduct personal searches of citizens and inspect cars.

In addition, during the state of emergency, the sale of weapons is prohibited, and a special regime is established for the sale of medicinal and narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and alcohol.

Against the backdrop of mass protests in the republic, the authorities previously introduced a state of emergency in four regions of the country – first in Alma-Ata and the Mangistau region, and then in the Alma-Ata region and the capital Nur-Sultan.

The material is being supplemented.
