RRome, May 29th. (askanews) – The 80 years of the Republic also celebrated by the Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano with the project «La Repubblica is a great choir»the video of which was published online on YouTube.
The song performed by Antoniano, directed by Margherita Gamberini (and distributed by Sony Music Italy) is available on all digital platforms. An initiative that aims to read the history of the Republic and the values of the Constitution as acollective musical experience dedicated to girls and boys from all over Italy.
The unreleased song was designed as a tool to reflect, get excited and feel part of the national community. «Eighty years of the Republic are eighty years of voices that have learned to be together. We thought of a choir as an image of this anniversary because in the choir we learn, test after test, what is fundamental in a democracy: listen, agree, contribute to something that belongs to everyone» said Br. Giampaolo Cavalli, director of the Antoniano «”La Repubblica is a great choir” is the invitation to all come together, small and large, to remember and learn together that democracy lives every time we decide to listen to each other and unite our voice with that of others». The lyrics of the song are signed by Angela Senatore and the music is composed by Lorenzo Tozzi.
