As many as seven cross-country skiers were abandoned in Estonia. The last race of the Estonian Estoloppet ski marathon series was contested in Haanja on Saturday. The traditional style race was won by Henri Roos. The Estonian daily newspaper Õhtuleht says on its website that no fewer than seven skiers who participated in the competition were disqualified for using the banned fluorine cream.
