With respect to the legal figure of the real estate agent: In our country, the figure of the real estate agent is regulated in the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation. In Article No. 1479 (Chapter 17, Title IV, Third Booko) It is established that: “There is an Agency contract when one party, called agent, undertakes to promote business on behalf of another party, called principal or entrepreneur, in a stable, continuous and independent manner without any employment relationship, through remuneration. The agent is an independent intermediary, he does not assume the risk of the operations nor does he represent the principal. The contract must be implemented in writing.”
