The 26th Müller Thurgau, Mountain Wine review is underway

dthe review returns to 6 to 9 July Müller Thurgau: Mountain Wine born to value the Müller Thurgau and the Valle di Cembra area.

On the programme, free tastings of the 76 wines on display, tastings and masterclasses at the cellars.

And again the “Sri Lanka Night” cooking show with Nicky Brian from MasterChef Italia 11, trekking through the vineyards, an e-bike tour of the cellars, dinner on Viale di Cembra and – for those who want – even a helicopter flight .

The review Müller Thurgau: Mountain Wine

Organized by Valle di Cembra Exhibition Committee with the support of Trentino Marketing and the coordination of the Trentino Wine and Flavors Route as part of the promotion of provincial wine events, #trentinowinefest, is preparing to blow out 36 candles.

The event kicks off on Thursday 6 July with the official inauguration at Three Masters Park of Cembra at the same time as the opening of the halls of Palazzo Maffei, where until Sunday 52 Müller Thurgau wines from different areas of the Trentino, as well as from Alto Adige, Lombardy, Sicily and Valle d’Aosta.

To these, they add 19 German wines, 4 Swiss and one from the Czech Republic, for a total of 76 labels.

The day-to-day schedule

On Friday 7 July the event includes the awarding of XX Müller Thurgau International Wine Competition, conducted by Andrea Amadei, professional sommelier, Decanter radio speaker, face of the television show It’s always noon of Rai1 and editorial director of the magazine The art of wine.

The award ceremony will be preceded, from 16.30 to 20 from a “slow” walk from the vineyard to Cembra mountain winery, in the company of the alpacas from the Silpaca breeding and a vertical magnum-sized Müller Thurgau Viach scheduled from 5 to 8 pm at the Corvée winery in Cembra.

Trekking among the vineyards and e-bike tour among the cellars

On Saturday the “Heroes” trekking is planned among the vineyards of about 6 kilometers, while from 18 to 20, the space “Fuori di Taste” will host the second edition of “Around the world in 80 Müller”, which will see Nicky Brian of MasterChef Italia 11 with typical Sri Lankan recipes paired with vintage Müller Thurgau, demonstrating the versatility and longevity of this wine.

Sunday 9 July from 10, the e-bike tour among the cellars is scheduled, which will start from Cantina Simoni in Palù di Giovo and, passing through the vineyards below the road axis, it will lead the participants first to the Zanotelli di Cembra winery and, finally, to the Pelz winery.
