Mika Ilmén does not digest Roger Karimus’s words.

Competing in the Ice Cage 6 event on Boxing Day Roger Karimus teased in an interview with IL Mika “Immu” Ilménwho has opened up about his criminal history in books and podcasts.

– I have a much tougher past than Immu, but I would never brag about it, or write books about it. I want the youth not to follow the example and start idealizing such things, Karimus said.

Ilmén starts to laugh when he hears about Karimus’ speeches.

– Funnily carved that he has a tougher past, but he wouldn’t want to flaunt it. Quite a few turns of phrase.

– I really don’t think anything of them. That’s why I go to schools to educate people so that no one would do something like that. I don’t know how much Roger goes to schools to educate. At least I haven’t heard of him doing that.

Karimus also said that Immu says “nasty things” and that he doesn’t like to “bark at people that much”.

Ilmén, who founded his own wrestling organization, suspects that the comments refer to his criticism of Ice Cage.

– If you criticize some events, which I think have been handled poorly, that’s not barking.

“Lamb in wolf’s clothing”

Ilmén says he once took Karimus into the Cannonball motorcycle club. Atte Kajova

Karimus and Ilmén have known each other for a long time.

– I’ve been taking him to the club myself, and then he later got a shoe due to financial ambiguities. If he’s playing some kind of elite gangster now, they’re a bit funny. I think he’s a sheep in wolf’s clothing. But it’s good if you’ve gotten away from those groups, that’s a great thing.

However, Immu strongly doubts that this would not have happened.

Karimus has said that he was in prison when he was young, but that he has since switched to a different path.

– It immediately sounds like nonsense. I don’t even know that he was in prison, says Immu and mentions two cases for which he knows Karimus received a suspended sentence.

– He has done the Cannonball jobs again like a man of the hour. The fact that he would have become wiser as a child is quite nice.

Sivallus about the weight difference

Karimus gets in the Ice Cage Matias Niemen. The 155-kilogram mortar declared that the boxing competition is of a tougher level than Immu’s and Joni “Stagala” Takalan the mittelö held in May, because now two real athletes are measuring each other.

Nieme, who weighs 95 kilograms, has a wrestling background.

– Fighting sport is of course a weight class sport and as such it is a terribly unfair match for Nieme. And Roger would never dare to take any fair match. When the other is 60 kilos smaller, then he has dared, Immu sneers back.

– They are certainly both athletes, but if you say that I was never an athlete, that’s a bit special. Would that I had nine Finnish championships and Finnish Open victories in total in these sports and a European championship in lock wrestling.

Immu turns his gaze to the background of Karimus, who invested in powerlifting.

– I don’t know of a single match that Roger has attended. I could see that that is a pretty thick insult, he refers to Karimus’s words.

– But I guess that’s not it, that’s his point of view.
