Fans and observers can still (mostly) catch a glimpse of the stars of FC Bayern when they complete their sessions on Säbener Straße, but that should have changed by the end of August. Because the schedule provided for the new privacy curtains requested by coach Julian Nagelsmann to be installed by then.
So far, however, this has not happened. Only red posts were concreted into the ground around the professional wing, and fence mesh was attached. The electrical system was also relocated.
The oversized video screen that was supposed to be attached to the facade of a house is also missing. It should enable video analyzes directly on the pitch in XXL format, so that every player can see and correct his mistakes in detail.
According to information from “Bild”, the fact that both the curtain and the screen are missing is due to delivery problems. The people of Munich have been waiting for the material for a long time.
It is not known how long the delay will last. Nagelsmann, however, will remain patient for the time being and will have to do without his dream curtain, which is not only intended to keep out the eyes of curious spies from upcoming opponents, but will also have an acoustic effect at the same time.
Because the curtain that the former Bayern coach Pep Guardiola had installed on another training ground for 80,000 euros when he took office in 2013 does keep people out of sight, but: You could still read the instructions and instructions from up close, for example from the parking lot understand conversations.
