TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu made a statement after his meeting with Fenerbahçe and Kasımpaşa regarding participation in the Ziraat Turkish Cup.

“WILL PARTICIPATE IN KASIMPAŞA; F.BAHÇE ASKED FOR TIME”
“Fenerbahçe and Kasımpaşa had the intention not to participate in the Turkish Cup. We met with them regarding this request. Fenerbahçe had a decision taken last year. Kasımpaşa had made a notification, but they renewed it this year. The situation of the two teams is different. Kasımpaşa expressed its grievances. Fenerbahçe President Mr. Ali Koç responded positively to this initiative of the federation in order to contribute to the brand value of Turkish football and that they made a corporate decision. “The company said that they would discuss the decision with the board of directors and the general assembly, and they asked for time. I believe that they will make a positive decision after that development.”
“CLUBES ARE NOT DISTURBED ABOUT INCOME”
“Clubs are uncomfortable with the income from the Turkish Cup. If it is necessary to come together to solve them, we will work to solve this problem.”
