The star and crescent team was accompanied by Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, TFF Deputy President Mecnun Otyakmaz and managers.
Making a statement as the group entered the hotel where they will camp, Mecnun Otyakmaz underlined that they would go into a very critical fight.
Speaking about the interest of the people of Kosovo in the National Football Team, Otyakmaz said, “We went to Gaziantep when I was the president of Sivasspor, they gave very nice honors, but we lost the match. None of these are important. Hopefully, our brothers will do what is necessary with a very good game. It will be a difficult match. We take our job seriously. They are aware of what they will do. Hopefully, we will show the necessary fight and leave here happily. We also thank the Kosovars for their hospitality.” he said.
Referring to the Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak’s coming to Pristina with the convoy, Otyakmaz said, “Our Minister is also here, which gives us another strength. There will be participation tomorrow as well. All together here, in unity, hopefully we will get the result we desire.” he said.
