In a two-hour test match, Dynamo Dresden barely averted defeat. The equalizer only came in the final phase – thanks to a new addition.

Dynamo Dresden played a draw in the only friendly match of the winter training camp in Turkey. In the game in Lara, which lasted four times for 30 minutes, the leaders of the 3rd league drew 1-1 with bottom-placed Rot-Weiss Essen.

After Essen took the lead through Ramien Safi in the 52nd minute, new signing Andi Hoti equalized five minutes before the end. The central defender is on loan from 1. FC Magdeburg.

The Dresdeners travel back to Germany on Sunday. On Sunday next week they will host Viktoria Cologne for the first competitive game of the new year.
