Test caravan in Zonnebeke should encourage bicycle use

The test caravan is an initiative of the province of West Flanders, in collaboration with the municipality of Zonnebeke, and consists of fifteen electric bicycles, six electric cargo bicycles and fifteen speed pedelecs.

Two test groups

In March, 87 residents of Greater Zonnebeke registered to participate in the initiative. After that, two groups can test a bicycle for free for two weeks each. The first group starts on May 23. The test caravan will leave Zonnebeke at the end of June.

The initiators mainly want to encourage the use of bicycles. Taking the bike has many advantages, it is good for the environment and for both physical and mental health.
