The outdoor outfitter Bergzeit GmbH has appointed Teresa Schuster to be responsible for all operational processes. The 38-year-old has been responsible for the “Logistics, Customer Care, Payment and Operations Reporting” areas in the newly created position of “Head of Operational Excellence” since the end of last year, the company, which is based in Otterfing in Upper Bavaria, explained on Monday. In this role, she now reports directly to management and is part of the strategy team.
With the personnel decision, Bergzeit is pursuing the goal of “forming a sustainable operations area that forms the basis for further growth and improves the customer experience”. In addition to optimizing existing processes, the focus is also on “initiating new projects in order to increase delivery and service performance”.
According to her new employer, Teresa Schuster most recently worked as a team leader for the fulfillment center Launches & Expansions at the online retailer Zooplus. There, the business informatics graduate was responsible, among other things, for the “logistical expansion into various European markets”, according to a statement.
