Just in time for the start of the Grand Slam tennis tournament French Open, the German sporting goods retailer Tennis-Point Europe GmbH is opening a new store in Paris.

In a statement published on Tuesday, CEO Andreas Otto explained the background to the expansion step. “Paris is a key growth market for Tennis-Point,” he explained in a statement. “With the new store we are creating a high-quality offering for the French tennis and padel community.”

At Boulevard Poissonnière 16, the retail chain specializing in racket sports supplies is now offering rackets and equipment in the center of the French capital. In the new store, customers will also find trial areas, a tennis simulator and suitable services such as individual racket advice and a stringing service.

In addition to tennis, the trend sport padel is a focus of the range. Padel has “developed into one of the most popular growth sports in France – especially in urban areas,” the company explained.
