With the replacement of the voice, a band lost a lot of trademarks. And the fans are only happy again when the original still returns. What remains from the in between? Well, one or more interim singers for the annals. A small Cinderella collection.
1. Svaen Lauer
Jupiter Jones (2014 – 2018)

Svaen Lauer and the band Jupiter Jones have been friends forever, guitarist Sascha a buddy from childhood. As a founding member and singer Nicholas Müller exit 2014, the way to the successor (ergo interim singer) was very short. After the interim split 2018 and the album with roaring flags as a memory of this era, the band has been active again since the beginning of the year. On the microphone: Nicholas Müller.
2. Ronnie James Dio
Black Sabbath (1979 – 1983, 1991 – 1992)

The voice miracle, who died in 2010, is something like the lighthouse among the several temporary ozzy successors and predecessors. With classics like Heaven and Hell, Dio has a place of honor in IG Metall Birmingham, not all of them were granted such fame. Glenn Hughes and Ian Gillan still have a lot of radiance, just like Tony Martin. However, one would have to look up with Dave Walker, David Donato and Ray Gillen.
3. Ray Wilson
Genesis (1996 – 1998)

Oh, the good ray. Supergroup meets One Hit Wonder, an idea, so that you could almost find it cool again. Wilson later distanced himself from Genesis, but still toured with original member Steve Hackett. New concert posters from Wilson have recently been spotted on the program: “Genesis Classics”. The fact that Phil Collins would tour with Stiltskin-Hits has not yet been confirmed.
4. Sara Brahms
Tic tac toe (1999 – 2000)

Give me a P, give me a K – PK! The press conference to End All Press Conferences remains a milestone, the good Sara Brahms is more of a guardrail. After Ricky’s sensational finish, she added Tic tac toe Shortly before the Millennium and under the email address: Sara @ tic tac Two. The Reunion 2005 followed the Split 2000. Sara has no trace, but Ricky was back on board.
5. John Corabi
Mötley Crüe (1993 – 1996)

After the mega success of Dr. Feelgood went Vince Neil, came interim singer John Corabi. At the end of his guest appearance, Corabi had already sung the vocals for the programmatically titled generation of Swine, but the record company was on Neil’s return.
6. Gary Cherone
Van Halen (1997 – 1999)

David Lee Roth. Sammy Hagar. That’s it? Not quite. There was also a certain interim singer Gary Cherone at Van Halen. The interim of the interim. Hagar followed Roth, Hagar Cherone, then Hagar again. Then red again. Very simple, right?
7. Axl rose
AC/DC (2016)

In the name of the rose. Honestly and with a little power-up: it wasn’t that bad …
8. Bekka Bramett
Fleetwood Mac (1993 – 1995)

The rumors-line-up in 1993 was again on the inauguration of Bill Clinton, but the crack too big, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham disappeared again. The 25-year-old Bramett came for Nicks and stayed for two years. You could see the constellation in the preliminary program of Reo Speedwagon. With the comebackers Buckingham/Nicks it went higher again.
9. Blaze Bayley
Iron Maiden (1994 – 1998)

Find a successor for Bruce Dickinson? You could try to replace Rob Halford right away. The ex-Wolfsbane singer held out for five years, then Bruce not only literally reported back in the cockpit of the Maiden machine “Ed Force One”.
10. Tim “Ripper” Owens
Judas Priest (1996 – 2003)

Find a successor for Rob Halford? Oh, we leave that …
