Wind gusts
Thunderstorms are possible in the second half of the afternoon on Thursday. With these thunderstorms there is a local chance of wind gusts around 60 kilometers per hour, a lot of rain in a short time (30 millimeters in an hour) and hailstones of 1 to 2 centimeters can fall. Traffic and outdoor activities could be affected, according to the meteorological institute, which expects the thunderstorms to move north in the second half of the evening.
The weather warning applies to the provinces of Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe, Overijssel, Gelderland and Limburg, for the time being between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.
