Telstar Women fall hard at return in Eredivisie

The women of Telstar will not look back happily on their return to the Eredivisie. In The Hague there was quite a chance of losing. Opponent ADO was a few sizes too big and put the White Lionesses aside 4-0.

After five minutes of football, Telstar had to take the first goal. Losing the ball in midfield was the intention of a quick counter from The Hague. After a good pass, striker Lobke Loonen was able to slide the ball into the net. The Telstar players then went into halftime with a bad feeling. A minute before the halftime signal, Liz Rijsbergen managed to double the score.

After the break, Telstar had to change things up, but that attempt failed. In the 63rd minute, ADO was awarded a penalty. Spits Loonen did not succumb to the pressure and scored in a controlled manner: 3-0. Ten minutes before the end, the game was thrown into the slot. After a smooth attack, Rijsbergen kept a good overview, allowing Jaimy Ravensbergen to tap the ball in for an open goal: 4-0.
