Telstar will be honored tomorrow after the historical promotion to the Eredivisie. That happens at 4.15 pm on Plein 1945 in IJmuiden. The square is accessible to all the public from half past three. NH broadcasts the ceremony live on TV and Radio from 4 p.m.
The players will be sung and welcomed, in turn they will address the fans. Trainer Anthony Correia and captain Mitch Apau will be interviewed and there is a performance by singer Jesse Prins.
The ceremony will last until about half past five. To prevent incidents, the municipality has taken some measures. In this way everyone is obliged to be able to identify themselves and are banned from fireworks, torches and similar objects. Flags may be worn with it, but flag sticks, on the other hand, are not allowed.
Traffic
All traffic is diverted from 3 p.m., from the Zoutmanstraat/Noostraat intersection, on the Zeeweg from the intersection with the Willemsbeekweg and on Lange Nieuwstraat from the Hema.
