“The last victory in particular gives a boost to Saturday,” Telstar captain Danny Bakker looks ahead to FC Groningen. “We are certainly heading towards Groningen with confidence. We have been going for the win all season, so that will be no different on Saturday.”
The Velsen residents are working on a strong series at home. The last defeat was against AZ at the end of January. “We played great matches, especially at home,” Bakker agrees. “We are certainly the best on the home field. With the entire stadium behind it, every opponent has a hard time here. The audience also gives an extra boost.”
