“The field is much too hard to play on,” said Anass Najah afterwards. “It is still doable with normal shoes. If you wear football shoes with studs, you will hear a difference. It looks like futsal with studs.”

The match between Jong FC Utrecht and Jong AZ was also canceled due to frost. In contrast to Telstar’s competition, the clash of promises was quickly removed from the programming. On Thursday afternoon, December 15, the KNVB announced that football could not be played at sports complex Zoudenbalch due to the freezing cold. The match between the reserves will now be played on Monday, January 9 (8 p.m.).

Standing at the moment the White Lions eleventh in the first division with two points less than Jong PSV, although they have played one game more. Jong AZ has so far scored 24 points and is in a neat eighth place in the first division
