The table leader won against the midfield team Veolia Towers Hamburg 76:66 (45:37) and kept the champion Alba Berlin at bay. The Berliners have the chance to move back up to two points on Sunday.
The Bonners dominated the game from the start and gained an early lead against the twelfth-placed team that they couldn’t give up. The best pitcher in the baskets was point guard TJ Shorts with a strong 21 points and nine assists.
