Tears at Michael van Gerwen by tournament event after the Dutch final: ‘I needed this so much’

After a completely Dutch final, Michael van Gerwen has won the German Darts Grand Prix. The triple world champion was too strong for fellow countryman Gian van Veen at the Eurotour tournament in Munich. It is for Van Gerwen’s first tournament victory since September last year and that caused many emotions with the 35-year-old darter.
