AMSTERDAM – Dutch delegations to the Dakar Rally have always been significant. This is also the case in the 44th edition of the world’s most famous off-road event, because the Netherlands takes third place in the list of nationalities. Traditionally, truckers are well represented in this. At the start of the desert rally that will end in Saudi Arabia today, there were no fewer than fifteen Dutch teams, many from Brabant.
