The 102-minute documentary “Teaches for Peaches” by Philipp Fussenegger and Judy Landkammer is dedicated to the electroclash musician from all angles. The film features rarely seen archive footage and footage from the “Teaches of Peaches Anniversary Tour.”

Images from rehearsals and live performances show how important the radical queer feminist believes the combination of music, theater, visual art and performance is in order to convey her polarizing message. Some may find their frank language and visual drama liberating and powerful, others as exaggerated or shocking. But this emotional impact is part of their aesthetic.
