Started ‘innocent’, but fantasy took over
The 34-year-old teacher from Hilversum gave Chemistry in a high school in Almere. The first app contact with the minor student was created through whatsapp groups of the school, but soon he also began to report her privately.
At the beginning the contact was still relatively innocent, he says. “Very normal, as you have contact with every student. About the lesson, about the material, I gave her tests and watched them. It wasn’t very special.”
But slowly the conversation shifted to personal topics, such as their hobbies and football. After that, the contact became increasingly intimate. “First I said: You look good. Then: you look nice. And in the end it went to: I would like to stroke you.”
Sexually tinted posts
The man sent sexually tinted messages to the student for a year and a half. The man also asked if the girl wanted to put on her lingerie and send photos to him. The victim was 16 years old at the time.
The man says that it has never been his intention to meet with the student to actually have sex with her. He hinted there in his messages according to the Public Prosecution Service, but according to the man this was not really his intention. “I never had anything like: we are really going to do it.”
