Travis Kelce has proven in a new interview that even when he should be talking about himself and being a professional footballer, the only thing on his mind is his girlfriend, US superstar Taylor Swift.

On Monday, January 13th, the tight end player on the “Pat McAfee Show” podcast as a guest. The 35-year-old was actually supposed to talk about his job and give updates about it. Kelce’s answer was not the monosyllabic diplomatic reaction that is so often the case for athletes, but rather a quote from a Swift song.
As if his thoughts revolved around his 35-year-old partner around the clock, he began to quote the song “22” by the singer-songwriter: “I’m fired up, I’m feeling 22 all over again , baby.” Podcast host McAfee understood the Swift reference and immediately intoned the song’s chorus, whereupon Kelce immediately did a little dance.
The song quoted, which can be found on the fourth Taylor Swift album RED (from 2012), further relaxed the mood of the conversation without the athlete having to argue with the Kansas City Chiefs about his to-dos .
