Taylor Swift reassures fans after cutting her hand during a show

“I’m absolutely fine and it was completely my fault — I tripped over the hem of my dress,” Swift explained in a Twitter post.

Last weekend Taylor Swift gave three concerts in Houston as part of her current “The Eras Tour”. After the last show in this series, however, many fans on social media were concerned because the 33-year-old singer had appeared with a bloody hand. Now, on Monday (April 24, 2023), Swift reached out to her fans on Twitter to reassure them that she was fine.

She wrote: “I just played three crazy shows in Houston and I wake up with a smile because I remember how much fun we all had. I love this tour so much because of the passion people have for this – I can’t wait for Atlanta.” She then referred to the incident: “PS for anyone wondering how I cut my hand “I’m absolutely fine and it was all my fault – I tripped over the hem of my dress and fell backstage in the dark while trying to change quickly – I caught my fall on the palm of my hand.” She ended with the words: “Don’t worry about me, I’m veeery fine” and added a kissing mouth emoji.

The American singer is currently on a big “The Eras Tour”, which includes around 44 (!) songs per show. On March 24, 2023, Taylor Swift surprised her fans at the Las Vegas concert with a live version of “Snow On The Beach” – the collaborative song with Lana Del Rey on her recent album MIDNIGHTS – at the end of her set. Before playing the song, she first praised the singer in the highest tones. The 33-year-old began by saying, “Lana Del Rey has a new album out and it’s called ‘Did you know there’s a tunnel under Oceans Blvd,’ and folks, it’s so good! You probably already know that, but it’s just extraordinary.”
