On Friday night (March 24), Taylor Swift surprised her fans at The Eras Tour concert in Las Vegas with a live version of “Snow On The Beach” – the song she shared with Lana Del Rey – at the end of her set their latest album MIDNIGHTS. Before playing the song, however, she first praised the singer in the highest tones. The 33-year-old began by saying, “Lana Del Rey has a new album out and it’s called ‘Did you know there’s a tunnel under Oceans Blvd,’ and folks, it’s so good! You probably already know that, but it’s just extraordinary.”

She added, “I just think she’s the best we have and so I think as a group we need to make it a priority to stream, buy and support this album and this artist.” She then began to play the first few notes of “Snow On The Beach” on the piano, but changed her mind and said, “And she knows I’m obsessed with her, and she was kind enough to do a song with me to do on “Midnights” which is called ‘Snow On The Beach’. She is so generous and did this for me and I will never forget how nice she has been. It’s so cool when you have favorite artists and they turn out to be so nice to you.” She ended her praise by saying, “Anyway, I wanted to do a little promotion for them and in honor of this brilliant album I want to I play ‘Snow on the Beach’.”

Lana Del Rey’s new album DID YOU KNOW THERE’S A TUNNEL UNDER OCEANS BLVD was released March 24 and features 16 songs including features with Jon Batiste, Judah Smith, Bleachers, SYML, Tommy Genesis, RIOPY and Father John Misty. Taylor Swift’s latest album MIDNIGHTS was released on October 21, 2022 to critical acclaim. The American singer is currently on a big “The Eras Tour”, which includes around 44 (!) songs per show.
