It’s unprecedented: Taylor Swift occupies all the places in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, one of the most important charts in the United States. She is the first artist ever to achieve this. On social media, however, people are questioning whether this is possible.
Last week the singer released her tenth album midnights which received critical acclaim worldwide. so had The Guardian only praise for Swift, writing that she “has written songs in a very certain way, rich in subtle, brilliant touches.”
The singer leads the list with the song Anti-Hero the numbers Lavender Haze and maroon complete the top 3. The Billboard Hot 100 is compiled based on sales, downloads from streaming services and how often a song is played on the radio.
Swift breaks the record previously held by Drake. The rapper occupied nine of the ten spots in the American chart in September last year.
