Tennis player Tatjana Maria has reached the quarterfinals of the Thailand Open.
The 35-year-old Wimbledon semi-finalist won 6-0, 6-4 against Dajana Jastremska. The Ukrainian won the tournament in 2019. At the WTA event in Hua Hin, Maria will again meet a Ukrainian in the quarterfinals, her opponent will then be Lessia Zurenko.
The tournament is endowed with almost 260,000 dollars, Maria is seeded at number six.
