Savut’s family and loved ones, who had been waiting for a miracle since the first day of the disaster, found Savut’s body in Adana, which could not be reached despite the removal of the wreckage of the building. The family, who identified the body of Taner Savut, the father of two daughters, who learned that he was taken to Adana after being mixed with his own funerals by another family, from the ring on his finger, announced the sad news yesterday after the DNA test.

The funeral of Taner Savut, whose 48-year sports life, which he started at the age of 12 in İzmirspor infrastructure, ended with the earthquake in Hatay, was brought to his hometown İzmir. A funeral ceremony was held for Savut at the Hacı Fatma Tatari Mosque of Dokuz Eylül University Theology Faculty.
