Tame Impala’s “Lonerism” celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. To mark the occasion, a box set will be released, albeit a little late. In addition to the original album, this will contain a 24-page booklet and previously unreleased demos. It will be released on May 26th.
It’s not the first Tame Impala record to be reissued and expanded for the occasion. The debut album “Innerspeaker” was re-released in a four-LP box for its 10th anniversary. “The Slow Rush”, which was released in the same year, was expanded last year to include a deluxe edition with B-sides and remixes.
“Lonerism” marked the breakthrough of Kevin Parker’s project in 2012. Tame Impala performed the full album at the 2022 Desert Daze festival at Lake Perris, California to celebrate the anniversary.
