With the sub-brand Newd.Tamaris, the Wortmann-Group relies on a new order concept that is to be based on flexibility and support. From spring/summer 2023, the shoe brand wants to focus on production in Europe and a monthly changing program. At the same time, Newd.Tamaris will be the official partner of fashion designer Kilian Kerner as part of the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week.

With an “Order on Demand” approach, Newd.Tamaris ensures change: A more flexible order concept that is tailored to the needs of customers. “The current situation on the procurement market presents us all with new challenges. Long lead times and high failure rates also bring with them more imponderables. The agile and dynamic placement of the brand allows us to rethink long-standing processes and structures, including pre-orders. Not only are we strengthening our existing customer base, but we are also offering new customers an attractive model of cooperation in difficult times,” says Jens Beining, CEO of the Wortmann Group.

Newd.Tamaris wants to position itself in the entry-level premium segment with monthly drops with price points between 100 and 140 euros. The cooperation with the fashion designer Kilian Kerner, at whose fashion show at the Berlin Fashion Week in September Newd.Tamaris acts as an official partner, should also open the doors to the premium fashion environment.
