Tamara Korpatsch was eliminated in the first round of the WTA tournament in Lyon. The 27-year-old tennis player lost to Alison van Uytvanck from Belgium 2-6, 4-6.
After the fourth defeat in the fourth game, Korpatsch is still waiting for the first sense of achievement this year.
With Jule Niemeier there is a second German participant at the tournament in Lyon. The Wimbledon quarter-finalist will face Colombia’s Camila Osorio in the second round. The game is scheduled for Wednesday evening.
