Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will remain with television channel ABC for the time being. Kimmel’s contract, which was to expire in May 2026, has been extended by one year. The talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! was temporarily taken off the air in September after comments by the comedian about the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
