AZ has broken up and extended Maxim Dekker’s contract. The 18-year-old defender will sign until the summer of 2026. In addition, he will be part of the first team next season.

The football player from Rijsenhout settled in 2017 at the youth academy of AZ. So far he has played 25 games for Jong AZ and in all Youth League matches he started in the starting line-up. Last week he won the KNVB Cup with AZ Under 18.
