In the Hilversum Meent, Petra Kruidenberg takes care of Badr Almusrati on behalf of Takecarebnb. He is a status holder with a residence permit who is waiting for a house. Takecarebnb matches host families with guests and because new families are always needed, presenter June Hoogcarspel for NH Helpt visited the two.
Petra Kruidenberg registered because she had space in her home and heart. Her children have flown out and so there was room for her guest Badr from Libya. Living together is going wonderfully well. Badr is very happy with his life in the Netherlands. He can live in freedom here, something he could not do in Libya. Both see living together as an enrichment of their lives. They often eat together and Badr is simply part of Petra’s family.
If Badr gets a home, he will also take care of status holders himself and offer them the same support that he receives from Petra. And this success story leaves you wanting more. So if you have time and space to receive someone: check the call NH Helps and sign up!
