The women of the TTC Weinheim have come a decisive step closer to their first championship title in the table tennis Bundesliga.
On Friday evening, Weinheim defeated the TTC Berlin Eastside 6: 3 in the first leg of the Play-off finals in Berlin. The Weinheimers were particularly convincing in the individual (5: 2).
The series master from Berlin already won the trophy and the Champions League this season. Nevertheless, the experienced Palatinate, who were already the best team in the main round, were considered to be slightly favored against a young selection from the capital.
