Switzerland today votes on Radical Climate Act: “Reduce meat consumption per person by two thirds”

Swiss citizens can today vote in a controversial referendum that wants to limit economic development of the country ‘to what the planet can handle’. If the bill is adopted, Swiss consumers should, for example, reduce their meat consumption by two thirds within ten years.
