Swimming pools for surfing in Italy? Here we are. The mayor of Genoa: “Here’s what we will do”

As already told in a previous article, the project to bring the artificial swimming pool for surfing in Italy is concrete. There is one of the top most popular destinations Genoa and the mayor of the Ligurian capital himself, Marco Buccihe spoke to Radio Babboleo microphones: “It seems to me a very intelligent idea, but we will do more. We intend to build a swimming pool with an automatic wave for surfing and it will rise on the beach. It will be a large swimming pool, wide beyond 50 meters long and 100 meters long, where it will be possible to surf every day and in all seasons. It is a fantastic thing that will bring people from Germany, Switzerland and a little bit all of southern Europe. We are working on it and will have a great success”.
