There are often technical problems with the Ter Polderbad, which will soon close permanently. The swimming pool dates from 1974 and will be replaced by a new swimming pool in the autumn of 2025. The complex with indoor and outdoor pools, slides and a whitewater course would normally open in the spring, but the works were delayed.
“A lot of rain fell in the autumn, which meant that certain work could not continue. In the autumn there was a lot of wind again. For example, putting in windows is an impossible task,” he said.
In addition to a swimming pool with a whitewater course, the Duinengras site will also have padel courts, a fitness center and an indoor playground.
