The Czech Republic won the World Cup bronze medal after defeating Sweden 3–2 after a very long hard-fought match.

In the bronze match of the World Cup tournament, we saw a tough competition and no less than 28 shots. The Talkoos decided the winning shootout in the 14th shot pair, while Tsekin Eduard Sale ended the long overtime with his goal.
It was the longest grappling match in the history of the under-20 WC tournament.
– Of course it sucks to lose. But every guy in this group has given a hundred percent every day during the tournament. It’s not nice to lose, but we have a great group.
– The victory was close and I think we were better than the opponent in this game. But this is how it is now, said the disappointed Swedish Herman Träff.
The 191-centimeter New Jersey Devils reservation did not take a position on whether a solution should be sought by playing to the end.
