SVBO too strong for Roden in Drents chat

The 1st class F is unprecedentedly exciting. Roden and SVBO are in the middle, can still look up, but relegation is also still lurking.

Roden started the game better and got the better chances in the first half. But it took until the 25th minute before Olivier van der Tuin gave the home team the lead. The striker reacted attentively and finished off coolly, face to face with goalkeeper Jeroen Walda. Moments later, Van der Tuin had to leave the field injured.

SVBO equalized barely ten minutes later. Ronald Gerdes took advantage of the first chance of the team of trainer Marc Hegeman. Both teams went to the changing rooms with a 1-1 score.

SVBO started the second half strongly. René Wessels aimed a free ball just wide of the Roder goal. Substitute Niels Wessels promoted the first corner after the break to the 1-2. The guests played better football than in the first half.

In the final phase Roden insisted and the team got a good chance via Enrico Wardenier, but Walda won the duel with the striker. With the win, SVBO continues to keep track of the playoffs, while Roden takes a step back and has to look down.
