Coach Galm from Hoffenheim known
SV Sandhausen struck again shortly before the end of the transfer window and closed the open position on the left wing. Jonas Weik from VfB Stuttgart II signed on Thursday evening with the second division relegated team. The 23-year-old only switched to the Swabians last summer, having previously trained in the youth team at TSG Hoffenheim.
“Jonas comes from the region, I know him from his time in Hoffenheim and have followed his path closely. He’s learned the left-back position and is excellent defensively,” said coach Danny Galm. Weik added: “I’m very happy to be able to play in my home country again. And then also in the 3rd division – that is outstanding.”
