In Yle Areena, which lasted the whole weekend In the Moomin reading marathon Suzanne Innes-Stubb, spouse of the President of the Republic, was seen as a reader today.
He arrived at the reading marathon in a casual but cool outfit: a black polo shirt and blue jeans.
To the surprise of the viewers, Innes-Stubb, a native English speaker, read her part in Finnish, and it melted the hearts of the viewers. Viewers praised the president’s spouse in Yle’s chat.

Suzanne Innes-Stubb has dual citizenship from the United Kingdom and Finland. A native English speaker, Innes-Stubb is also fluent in French, German, Finnish and Swedish.

In total, more than 30 reading hours are accumulated during the marathon. On Friday evening, the book was read until around 10:15 p.m. On Saturday, the reading continued live at 9:00 a.m. and lasted almost half the night. On Sunday, the broadcast time is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Also, Teema & Fem monitors the reading work.
