The visitor must be a bit deeper into the pocket than before. For example, a day ticket cost 15 euros in 2007, now that is 93 euros for only Saturday and 218 euros for a three -day ticket. Parking costs you 19.50 euros per day.

The amount of toilets is – especially at the end of the day – tight and therefore there are also long lines. What is nice is that you can normally extend and that thanks to the KWF there is free sunscreen everywhere.

‘Coziness, good music and atmosphere’

Theo (44) is here for the twelfth time with his ‘Cas family’, which consists of four men and three women from Brielle. They are here from Thursday to Saturday and are at the campsite in Renesse. “We come for fun, the good music and the atmosphere. And the drink of course. We have breakfast with Flugel pancakes! I don’t think 218 euros for 3 days of festival, but the food and the drink are not cheap here. Very tasty!”

The choice of eateries is indeed huge: from pancakes to Korean chicken, vegan curry, bbq dishes, sandwiches, you name it. It is indeed pricey: a pancake costs 8.50 euros, a cappuccino 5 euros and a fries with Mayo 7.50 euros. What is new this year are the terraces everywhere, so that you do not have to sit on a rug with your buttocks all day. Incidentally, there are free tapping points for water; Taking your own bottle with you is therefore allowed. And you can hand in the remaining coins at the end of the day. Other festivals can take an example of this.

‘Very impressive performance Suzan and Freek’

Like everyone, the line-up is something for everyone. The highlight of the festival is of course the moving performance of Suzan and Freek, but also Anouk and the farewell concert of Kane make an impression. And many people melt like Pepijn Lanen (the youth) with his youngest son George (1) enters the stage.

“Crazy line-up! Only Claude was a bit disappointing,” says Luc (24) from Meppel. He is here all weekend to celebrate his girlfriend Isa’s 22nd birthday. “It feels like a mini vacation,” says Luc. “Not only do we come for the music, but also for the atmosphere and the beach. I was never a fan of Suzan and Freek, but their performance was very impressive. With the way less than lessons that you have to celebrate life. My favorite band? Bløf of course. Without them would not have been there!”
