On Friday evening, a suspicious object was found on Kantstrasse between Waldorf Astoria and the Upper West Tower next to parked vehicles, apparently an abandoned suitcase. Consequence: extensive closures!
Experts from the LKA examined the suitcase and it quickly became clear that it was not dangerous and did not contain a bomb
The closures extended to an area between Breitscheidplatz and Joachimsthaler Straße.
Just a month ago, a suitcase caused extensive closures in City West.
