From July 2022, the Vlas police zone regularly received reports of nuisance in Sint-Denijsestraat in Kortrijk. According to some local residents, a stone thrower was at work who was targeting their property. The police took the complaints seriously and conducted an investigation.
“A drone is deployed, officers stand guard for hours in the garden of some families and carry out both announced and unannounced observations,” the prosecutor said. “One house in particular was heavily targeted.
