An officer of the special task force (SEK) is said to have possessed cocaine several times in the past year and passed it on to another person. Prosecutors ordered a raid on the elite police officer.

On Tuesday, his own LKA colleagues searched the apartment in Großbeeren (Teltow-Fläming), his locker and the office in the anti-terror center on Ringbahnstrasse in Berlin-Tempelhof, as well as the elite officer’s car.

A spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office: “The 43-year-old police chief is said to have possessed cocaine in several cases over the course of 2022 and also given it to another person for joint use.”

Accordingly, data carriers were confiscated that could provide information about the procurement channels and the unauthorized delivery. “These are now being evaluated as part of the ongoing investigations by the specialist commissioner responsible for official offenses at the State Criminal Police Office,” the spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office continued.

In addition to the criminal investigations, official steps were also taken against the elite police officer. Depending on how the criminal proceedings end, the police also want to examine the disciplinary consequences.

In October last year, an LKA bodyguard (47) was already exposed when buying cocaine. During his service he had ordered a coke taxi to Unter den Linden in Berlin-Mitte and was wearing civilian clothes. After the drugs were handed over, his colleagues arrested him.
