The 23-year-old man from Hoorn who is suspected of involvement in the death of the twin brother of singer S10 will remain stuck for another fourteen days longer after sixty days. “In two weeks the case will be again before the council chamber,” a court spokeswoman told ANP.

The suspect was arrested in May. The Public Prosecution Service wanted to extend its custody for another thirty days. The court deviated from that. “The lawyer had not received the last documents on time. The court gives the lawyer the time to prepare for the council chamber session,” the court spokeswoman gives as a statement.

In addition to the 23-year-old suspect, a 30-year-old man from Hoorn has been in custody since the end of June. He will be in public for the first time in October during an introductory session at the court.

The twin brother of S10 was found seriously injured on 16 April on the roof of a garage at the bottom of a flat on the Osdorper Ban in Amsterdam. The victim stayed for hours in a house in the flat, where he might be held against his will. On June 19 he died of his injuries.
